Employer Information

Unless you already have an existing employee, our Employer Engagement team will work with you to recruit an Apprentice for your business. We will advertise your vacancy and screen the candidates before we send them for an interview. In addition, our dedicated account manager will give personal 1:1 advice and guidance on apprenticeships to you.

What will this cost my Business?

Non-levy paying employers will need to contribute 5% of the maximum funding band as published by the Skills Funding Agency for the delivery of training and assessment for their apprenticeship.

For this apprenticeship, the fee is £250.00.

However, employers with less than 50 employees who are recruiting an apprentice aged 16-18 years old will not be required to pay the contribution fee (£250.00).

Any associated cost to the individual will be made clear at the interview.

Entry requirements

Grade requirements: You will need four GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, or equivalent.

Other requirements: It is essential to have Level 1 English and maths and desirable to have Level 2 English and maths.

Assessment methods

Assessment will take place at the end of the programme and will comprise of an apprentice showcase. (Knowledge Test, a Portfolio-based Interview, and a Project Presentation).

This apprenticeship will typically take 12 months to complete.
